Pigging valve is a new type of device which is mainly used for pigging in pipeline of oil, natural gas, chemical products and other liquids. Carry out the launching and receiving operations of the pig, which is used for mechanical cleaning of the inner wall of the pipeline (deconfouling, rust removal, removal of foreign objects in the pipeline, etc.), separating different products, and has been widely used in oil and gas fields, chemical industries, docks, oil and gas storage warehouses and offshore platforms.

1. Type I pigging device

Type I is a standard pigging valve for cleaning pipes.

The device is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the pipeline, and plays the function of transmitting and receiving the pig while having the truncation function.

2. Type II pigging device

Type II is a kind of bypass pig valve, the device is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the pipe, and two circular channels are opened on the hollow ball perpendicular to the direction of the ball hole. This structure ensures that the pig valve will not break even when launching or receiving the pig, and the type II pig valve cannot be used as a cut-off valve.

3. Type III pigging device

Type III is mainly used to isolate and sequentially transport the medium to prevent the medium from mixing the pigging valve. The device pass is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the pipe and has an additional seal in the ball hole of the receiving pig valve to ensure that the isolation pig reaches the receiving pig valve.
